- 4 cups miniature marshmallows
- 2/3 cup evaporated milk
- 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) unsalted butter
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 12 ounces (2 cups) semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Grease a 9×13 pan or two smaller pans.
Combine the miniature marshmallows, evaporated milk, butter, sugar, and salt in a saucepan. Cook and stir over medium heat until the mixture comes to a full boil.
Boil for 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Add the chocolate chips. Beat until the chips melt and are blended.
Add vanilla and nuts. Beat until well blended. Pour into greased pans. Chill.
Cut into small pieces.
